Our Brötchenbude is located right on the Untertrave in Lübeck, on Drehbrückenplatz, with a view of the water and right in the heart of the Old Town’s hustle and bustle. Here, you’ll find freshly caught seafood served simply: really good fish sandwiches, fish & chips, and crispy fries— freshly made and perfect for your lunch break, a stroll along the Trave, or a relaxing afternoon by the water.
And since sitting at the harbor is even nicer with a cold drink, we offer more than just takeout fish. That includes our house-brewed Moinsener Pils, an Aperol in the sun, or a glass of wine. So: Order your food, grab a drink, and find a spot with a view of the water.

The Brötchenbude isn’t just a small-scale restaurant—it’s deliberately its own thing: laid-back, lively, and very North German. It’s a place for a quick fish sandwich stop as well as for “come on, let’s have one more drink”—and sometimes you end up staying a little longer after all.
